27th & 28th May: ABACUS AND VEDIC MATHS TRAINING SESSION
Exploring the power of Abacus and Vedic Math:
Mathematics has always been a subject that either excites or intimidates students. But with the right tools and techniques, however, anyone can master the magic of numbers. With this in mind, an Abacus and Vedic Math training session was organized for in our school campus on 27th and 28th May 2024. The resource person was Ms. Nalini and Mr. Shiva assisted mam in all the activities. 45 teachers, the teachers of LKG to grade 3 and Math teachers of grade 4 to 10 participated in this insightful training and gained knowledge about,
- Basic components of Abacus.
- Fundamental Operations
- Mental Calculation Techniques
- Introduction to Sutras
- Techniques of Vedic Math that will simplify complex calculations
- Rapid Arithmetic and
- Advanced Applications
The interactive nature of the session allowed teachers to delve deeper into the world of numbers and practice these techniques in real time with immediate feedback from instructors. This training session opened up new avenues for teachers to explore and enjoy mathematics by blending traditional methods with modern teaching techniques and helped them to understand the practical utility of Vedic Math in everyday scenarios
