International Yoga Day, celebrated on June 21st, is a testament to the enduring significance of yoga, which transcends mere physical exercise to enrich mental and spiritual health. Our campus embraced this spirit wholeheartedly, reflecting a global commitment to this timeless tradition. 14 enthusiastic students from grade 2 and 3 performed a series of asanas, demonstrating the importance of incorporating these practices from a young age. Grade 9 students led the assembly, showcasing the importance of yoga with a demonstration of various asanas. Grade 10, 11 and 12 students captivated everyone with a rhythmic display of asanas, including intricate chainchakrasana and dhanurasana formations. Students of grade 4 to 12, performed Surya Namaskar and engaged in meditation, embodying the day’s theme, “Yoga for Self and Society,” and reinforcing the profound impact of yoga on personal and communal well-being.
