Embracing the essence of sportsmanship, we the CVNites celebrated our 16th Annual Sports Meet on August 2, 2024. The event was a lively showcase of athletic talent, teamwork, and school pride. We were honored to have Thiru P. Ramamoorthy,Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annathanapatty Range, Salem, as our Chief Guest. Rev. Sr. Norah Alunkal, Provincial Superior of Cluny South Central Province, graced us as the Guest of Honor, while Ms. Raja Priyadarshini, Deputy Chief Ticket Collector Southern Railways, international basketball player, and alumna of St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Gugai, Salem, was our Special Invitee. Shanthi House clinched first in the March Past, setting a high benchmark for the day. Students impressed the spectators with their skills, showcasing vibrant drill displays and competitive track events. Individual championships were awarded to top performers in junior, senior, and super senior categories. Preethi House claimed the coveted Overall Championship Trophy, highlighting their exceptional teamwork. The sports meet not only celebrated the impressive talents of our students but also strengthened the bonds of camaraderie within our school community.
