On 3rd September 2024, a seminar on child abuse and protection was conducted for students in grades 1 to 5. The session was led by Ms. Sathya Sugavanesh, BE, MBA, MSc in Yoga, a Taekwondo and yoga instructor. She provided a thorough explanation of the concepts of good and bad touch to the children
On 12th September 2024, a seminar titled ‘Parenting’ was held for the parents of students in grades 1 to 4. The resource person, Ms. Sumathi, former CEO of Salem, emphasized the crucial role of parents in child development. The seminar provided valuable guidance on how parents can positively influence their children’s growth through mindful communication and behavior, ensuring a brighter future for them.
On 13th September 2024, a seminar on ‘Parenting Skills’ was organized for the parents of LKG and UKG students. The session, led by Dr. Shinika, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, provided valuable insights into effective parenting techniques.
On August 27th, 2024, Mr. Shanmugam from the Gajananda Institute, sponsored by Chennai Silks, conducted an orientation program focused on “Body, Mind, and Emotional well-being”, for the students of grades 4 to 12, the program emphasized the importance of yoga and meditation. He introduced various brain activities to enhance concentration and highlighted the advantages of laughter therapy.
