REFLECTING ON OUR FOUNDER’S LEGACY AND EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT DAY CELEBRATION
On 13th July 2024, our school premises was filled with great enthusiasm and reverence, as we celebrated the feast of our founder blessed Anne Marie Javouhey. The day was marked by a vibrant ceremony that brought together the school community to honour the Legacy of our founder Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey and her significant contributions to the society, as a liberator and a renowned educationist. The chief guest of the day Mrs.Susuan, teacher from St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, special guest Sr. Lucy and Sr. Anece from Fatima Convent, Sr. Paullette, correspondent Rev. Sr. Thecla Joseph and principal Rev. Sr. Marie Therese, graced the occasion, adding to the solemnity and joy of the day. The students of Grade 10 hosted the ceremony showcasing their talents through a variety of cultural events. The event included heartfelt song, inspiring speeches, energetic dances and captivating mime show and skit. The theme of the event “Let your light shine”, emphasized the profound impact of our founder in the field of education. Owing to the birth anniversary of our former Chief Minister Mr. Kamarajar, the students also commemorated the significant contributions made by him in the field of education through their thought-provoking skit. The dignitaries of the day, advised the children to be attuned to the call of God, to strive to do little good in their lives and awaken their inner selves to find the purpose of their life and make it fruitful. This beautiful celebration served as a reminder of the legacy of our founder and a sense of purpose and commitment to carry the light of our founder and let it shine brightly in our hearts and in our community.
