Bharatanatyam is an Indian classical dance form that originated in Tamil Nadu. It is one of eight Indian classical dance forms recognized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, and expresses South Indian religious themes and spiritual ideas. Classical dance is a performance art used for both education and performance. It has evolved from early dance forms used in religious ceremonies and celebrations.

Our students who are interested to learn Bharatanatyam are being trained by our classical dance teachers. These students give dance performances in the school functions.
