A Joyous Welcome for Our Little Blossoms – LKG Opening 2026

The new academic year for the LKG students of Cluny Vidya Nikethan commenced on 10 June 2026 with a warm and memorable welcome programme. The young learners, accompanied by their parents, were received with great enthusiasm and joy. The occasion began with a grand traditional welcome by the CVN Junior Band Troop, whose melodious performance created a festive atmosphere.

The children were greeted warmly as they entered the campus, marking the beginning of their educational journey. A ceremonial lighting of the Kuthuvilakku was held to invoke Gods blessings. The lamp was lit by the Principal, Rev. Sr. Marie Therese, Rev. Sr. Jessy, Ms. Mangaiyarkarasi, Ms. Usharani, and an LKG student along with the childs parent, symbolizing the partnership between the school and families in nurturing young minds.

Adding colour and vibrancy to the programme, the Grade I students presented a delightful welcome dance, which was enjoyed by the children and parents alike. The children and their parents also had an enjoyable time capturing memorable moments at the colourful selfie points creatively designed by the schools Art Teacher.

These attractive photo corners added to the festive spirit of the day and provided families with cherished memories of their first day at school. In her address, Rev. Sr. Marie Therese warmly welcomed the new students and their families and invoked Gods blessings upon them. The LKG children received a special blessing from the Principal, and gifts were presented to them as a token of love and encouragement.

The programme concluded on a joyful note, leaving the children excited and eager to begin their learning journey at Cluny Vidya Nikethan.
