On 3 rd September on the occasion of Teacher’s day celebration, we were privileged to have His
Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Arulselvam Rayappan to celebrate the Holy Eucharist as a mark of thanksgiving for
all the blessings we received from the Lord Almighty. In His homily Bishop insisted that we should be like
our Founder Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey in teaching the students to be humble, disciplined and practice
cleanliness. He said that every teacher must take interest to develop their potential and that of their students
and we must experience the joy and satisfaction in our teaching profession. He emphasized that a teacher
should be like a light house that shows the way amidst darkness and guide those who go astray. Teaching is
the only profession that creates all other profession. After the Holy Eucharist the teachers gave a short
program called “ Sheep on the path of the Shepherd” and felicitated the Bishop who is a great teacher. The
presence of His gracious in our institution was a time of blessing and joy.
